Hello and thanks for visiting.  I am an independent professional film-maker, videographer and production freelancer.  I offer a broad range of creative services but specialise in documentaries, films for charities, promotional films, music-led video projects and website videos.  I mostly work for public sector, corporate clients, small businesses, creative individuals and arts professionals.

I have over a decade of experience working as a director, editor, lighting-camera operator, sound recordist and Adobe Creative Suite specialist.  I have filmed for high-end clients such as the Royal Opera House, Mencap, House of Colour, Heritage Lottery Fund and the 2012 Olympic Torch Relay.

I have also led a number high-profile education and tuition projects involving children, young people and individuals with special needs and learning disabilities.  I have delivered practical educational film-making workshops on behalf of the Royal Opera House Creative Partnerships, Mencap, Thurrock Council, ROH Bridge, Theatre Is, Ormiston Park Academy among many other prestigious names.

A lover of technology, film, music, art, ambience and atmosphere, I aim to make all of my videos an immersive audio-visual experience and believe this is what sets me apart from my competitors.  My approach combines a multitude of technical and artistic disciplines to create powerful, evocative and artistic content.

Paul Carpenter Films is based in Thurrock, Essex.  I have produced many professional documentaries, arts project films, music video, web promos, shorts and promotional films for public and private sector clients and my work has been distributed across the globe.

My self-contained video production services are custom-designed to suit the needs of almost all types of corporate and private clientele.

I aim to offer incredible value for money, a creative and sensitive approach and extremely high production values at all times.  I can achieve this using my full broadcast-level production facilities including BBC-approved camera, pro location sound recording equipment and a high-end creative four-point Dedolight kit.
