It was a pleasure to again be invited by top London event producers DesignScene Ltd, to film one of their high profile shows.
Last week several thousand guests gathered in London Docklands to raise funds in support of homeless children living on the streets. The Railway Ball is organised on behalf of top executives and staff within the rail industry, who come together in aid of charity Railway Children, for a fun night of entertainment and celebration.
This year’s “Icons and Idols” show involved dynamic stage performances from a range of artists and performers covering almost every musical genre. The evening was hosted by impressionist Jon Culshaw with voice over and links from the voice of Siri, Jon Briggs.
My role was to capture behind-the-scenes logistics involved in staging this large scale event, and to get among the performers, presenters and guests to film the three hour live show.
As well as producing films and videos from scratch, I also offer freelance camera services to corporate and broadcast clients such as DesignScene, who wish to produce their own films in-house. My footage is supplied to the client in top quality C-Log ProRes 422 format and I use a full range of equipment on-site, including timelapse cameras, SLRs for creative work, EOS cinema main cameras, sliders and creative lighting.
