Working in production certainly has its privileges. Meeting astronaut and former commander of the International Space Station, Chris Hadfield, was surely the biggest privilege of my career so far.
On a recent shoot for National Geographic, Chris visited a small airfield to shoot a sequence featuring him flying in a vintage Tiger Moth biplane. My role was to produce high-resolution behind-the-scenes photography for Chris and his PR team.
It was a truly memorable day of production with the exceptionally professional Nutopia crew shooting on behalf of National Geographic. The finished scene aired as part of the Sky TV series, “One Strange Rock”.
